These
temperature indicators show the hour or days length that
the product have exceeded the temperature desired. If the
color is blue or visible, the product has reached the temperature
to control.
Previous conditions
to handle the Monitor Mark: must have been a minimum for
2 hours in a refrigerator, freezer preferred, or in a cold
container with a temperature below the suggested for the
product to be used with. This assures that the chemical
substance of the response is not solid and liquid before
taking the activating strip.
Once is conditioned
and is prepared for its use, the indicator can be held in
other temperature below its maximum temperature.
The product,
to be controlled, needs to be in a temperature below 5°C
under its critical temperature.
The surface which
the indicator is attached to, has to be also below the temperature
of response of the indicator, in other way, the heat of
the product or the surface can be enough to cause a premature
response in the indicator.
For
its use, collocate and attach the indicator with self adherent
strip in the area to try, and take off the activation strip
of the reactor, this allows that the indicator’s strip
and the deposit’s pad come in direct contact between
each other and the appearance of the color blue in the indicator
are the first signs that exceeded or exceeded the maximum
temperature to control.
